1986 China G100Y Liu Bang on Horseback NGC PF68 UCAM. This lovely proof 100 Yuan gold piece shows ultra cameo contrast with mirrored black fields and frosted devices. One or two microscopic ticks in the fields keep it from an even higher grade. The strike is full and sharp on both sides, as expected for a modern proof coin. The coin’s reverse shows the Revolutionary soldier, Liu Bang on horseback facing left with the denomination in the left field. The obverse shows the Chinese national emblem with the date below.
The coin is listed as KM # 145. It weighs 11.3180 grams and is 0.9170 Gold. The AGW is 0.3337 ounces. The diameter is 23 millimeters.
