1987 Piefort France 100F Silver NGC MS66. This silvery bullion mint state coin gleams with bright mint luster. One or two specks keep it from a higher mint state grade. The strike is full on both sides. The coin commemorates the 230th anniversary of the birth of General Lafayette. The obverse shows Lafayette facing left. Above him are his name and rank, and below is REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE. The reverse has a Phrygian cap on top. Under it is the motto of the Revolution LIBERTE, EGALITE, FRATERNITE with the denomination and date below.
