1987 Piefort France 100F Silver NGC PF69 UCAM. This black and white bullion proof coin has deep mirrors in keeping with the PF69 UCAM grade. UCAM coins are produced from dies and planchets that have been specially polished to impart the deep cameo mirrored finish. The strike is full on both sides. The coin commemorates the 230th anniversary of the birth of General Lafayette. The obverse shows Lafayette facing left. Above him are his name and rank, and below is REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE. The reverse has a Phrygian cap on top. Under it is the motto of the Revolution LIBERTE, EGALITE, FRATERNITE with the denomination and date below.
