Robert Scots Capped Bust to Right design was struck from 1795 to 1807 and utilized two reverses, the Small Eagle (1795-1798) and the Heraldic Eagle (1795-1807). The Heraldic Eagle reverse as seen on this example would ultimately be used on all United States coins at the time with the exception of the half cent and the cent.
