Stunning Great Britain Coronation Medal in Gold. Gem Uncirculated condition. Edward VII. BHM-3737. 31mm. Lovely gem example. Scarce with only a handful or so graded.
Does this 92-S look MS-63 to you Please click on the enlarged images and examine closely. This is the type of coin you can really have fun with by putting a small piece of black tape over the grade and passing the coin along to others to grade. My bet is the majority will grade this coin MS-64, some will grade it MS-65 and very few if any will grade it MS-63+. Quite the nice specimen of this type III struck at the San Francisco Mint. Then think of gold at $3500+ and consider such a small premium on a great coin.
Historic date while the California gold rush was taking place, the SS Central America carried her load of gold only to find davey jones locker. Very few found on the shipwreck, choice extremely fine.More
