A complete six (6) volume set of David W. Akers' authoritative series of books covering all United States gold coins struck at the U.S. Mint from 1795 to 1933. All five volumes are pre-own, unused copies and have been autographed by the author. These books have been considered the standard reference works on U. Every coin issue is photographed and described in detail with auction appearances listed covering a period of more than 50 years.

This set has been out-of-print and generally unavailable for more than two decades! It consists of the following:

  • Volume I, U.S. Gold Dollars, 110 pages
  • Volume II, U.S. Quarter Eagles, 248 pages
  • Volume III, U.S. Three & Four Dollars, 92 pages
  • Volume IV, U.S. Half Eagles, 393 pages
  • Volume V, U.S. Eagles, 322 page
