I hope all is well. Now that the holidays have officially begun, we are now about a month away from the FUN (Florida Numismatists Convention) which is sure to be packed with hungry collectors and investors the likes of which we've never seen (to borrow a phrase from the President). The market has been evolving over the years and we can say with certainty that both collectors and investors want quality rare coins, US and World material. It's my job to cherry pick thru millions of dollars in rare coins and choose the nicest specimens and frankly the best deals for my clients. This has become more and more of a challenge each year as these coins tend to almost evaporate from inventory when we have them in stock. I think you'll see some in this weeks top picks to indicate that as there are some great coins being offered.
Please, CALL OR EMAIL US to hold any coin on this list or on the website while you conduct your research. This is a very active market, and the inventory you see is the same inventory that is also offered to other dealers who actively sell to their customers coins on LIST and more than once in just the past week a client has requested information on a coin or sent an email to purchase ONLY TO BE TOLD "SORRY BUT THAT ONE WAS JUST SPOKEN FOR".
Please, request a HOLD while considering, which does not OBLIGATE YOU to anything, but will give you the needed time for research.
This weeks special picks begin with an iconic and highly desirable Colonial America copper, the famous Bar/USA Cent which circulated in New York in choice about uncirculated condition. It's been quite a while since having one of these this nice to offer. Next up is a superb gem quality MS-66 Arrows 1854 quarter which has magnificent color followed by a final year of the Civil War 1865 half dollar also with superb original color and in top grade Proof 66 Cameo! The special cherry picked gold begins with a choice uncirculated 1843-O quarter eagle w/small date followed by a monster 1895 quarter eagle in gem MS-66. Next up is a superb uncirculated 1901/O-S overdate $5 half eagle in superb MS-66 followed by the 3rd rarest New Orleans double eagle of 1855-O in choice about uncirculated condition to a high grade 1877-CC double eagle in very choice about uncirculated AU-58 graded by NGC. The next coin is considered a truly American design, 1913 Type 1 Buffalo Nickel error rarity in choice uncirculated and lastly an ancient Cyzicus Gold Stater 500-450 BC that is just delightfully rare and affordable. Have fun!
