February 4th 2026 - RARE SILVER DOLLARS THRU GOLD COINS

Hello All,

I hope all is well. Happy Grounds Hog week! Looks like nobody from the midwest to the southeast are escaping this deep freeze. I lost a few areca palm trees, a fairly new golden mango tree, several banana trees are all brown now and need to be replaced. I also noticed a BIG upswing in the amount of collectors opening the newsletter last week which, I think we 'll be seeing more of that this week. A perfect time for snow skiing, snowman building and indoor coin collecting/trading.

This weeks hand picked offerings begin with an ever popular and gem condition 1878 8TF Morgan Dollar in PCGS MS-65 CAC, next up a rare low mint state Proof Morgan dollar of 1890 with original "spotlight" toning to the first of several gold treasures starting with an early gold dollar of 1852-O from the Big easy in very choice uncirculated MS-64, to a choice uncirculated condition census 1888-S half eagle in choice unc showing only 2 coins graded higher, next up a very choice uncirculated 1856-S Double Eagle from the SS Central America in PCGS MS-63 followed by a monster Civil War Date 1864 Double Eagle in Choice About Uncirculated 55 by NGC, to a rare 1891-S/S Double Eagle Tied For Finest of only 7 graded, to a monster 1924-D St Gaudens PCGS MS-63 followed by a superb gem Colombia 1834 8 Reales NGC MS-65
