November 5th, 2025 - RARE COINS FROM LINCOLN TO EDWARD VII

Hello All,

I hope all is well. Looks like the cold weather is upon us with temps down into the 60's here at night, barely making it into the low 80's during the day. Brrr. It is also stone crab season, you know what that means. Enough talk of food though, I hope everyone had a happy Halloween and are starting to wake up the years festivities ahead. But for now take a gander at this weeks rarities. We've been busy.

This weeks very special picks start with an early key date gem MS-65 uncirculated red 1914-D Lincoln, awesome 1855-Charlotte gold dollar in very choice about uncirculated condition, select uncirculated Classic 1837 quarter eagle, rare Civil War gold quarter eagle of 1862 in Choice uncirculated MS-63, an intense 1880-S half eagle in gem unc MS-65, scarce and choice about uncirculated 1876-CC double eagle, rare 1892-CC double eagle in choice uncirculated, Rarity 8 quarter eagle in aluminum ( aluminum was more valuable than gold when this pattern was struck hence the use of aluminum in presentation sets of coins given to very special foreign presidents-dignitaries.
