arrowheads and letters than on the type 1 reverse. First
year of the Civil War Date quarter eagles, with a large
mintage of 1,283,788 coins struck for circulation.
Boldly struck, some small rub is noted on the highest
points. Sharply struck, the coin displays a lovely light
yellow hue. A considerable amount of satiny luster shows
