1934-D Oregon Trail Half Dollar, ANAC MS64. We have been familiar with this coin for more than a decade. Tempted many times to crack out and submit to NGC/PCGS but why? Look at this coin, beautiful booming luster with just a hint of natural light charcoal toning. Compare with the average MS65 coin and you might wonder why this coin is not graded higher! But now look at this ANACS holder and see what grade was placed on this coin so long ago. Cool huh?
