1877-CC Double Eagle, NGC AU-58 , This is the first Carson City Type III Double Eagle . Guestimates range from 125-175 specimens exist in grades above Extremely Fine. The specimen offered here is very choice about uncirculated with the NGC census showing a mere 116 specimens with only 21 graded finer.
