This coin is a shot 65 . Compare this specimen with ANY 1899 that's sold in the last couple years, graded MS-64. Then compare it with the few 65's that appeared. Close isn't it? We think so too. Lovely color and such almost mark free, certainly in the premium ++ quality category if not a shot higher. Population only 321 with a mere 11 coins higher with some duplication for sure. This is the nicest 1899 Double Eagle in PCGS MS-64 on the market. ( MS-65 Value 8K+ )!
