Here's a date in the St Gaudens double
eagle gold series that even the Smithsonian Collection
has only an MS-62 example of! This beautiful 1909 (She's
real fine my 1909!) Saint has much better than average
creamy surfaces , is quite solid for the grade and can
be considered as premium quality. Only 220 specimens
have made this grade at PCGS with a mere 26 graded higher.
Great investment spread with MS-65 examples having auction
records in the $30,000.00 range, MS-66 selling for $80,000.00
making this premium quality MS-64 specimen seem like
a genuine opportunity.
