1963 50C NGC PF-68 Ultra Cameo. This near perfect piece looks like it was minted yesterday. Only a few very small spots on the reverse keep it out of a 69 holder, though it might grade that high, someday. One of the first pieces struck from these dies, ultra cameo surfaces show with very deep contrast. Super frosty, this coin shows what the Mint could do with the coinage of the 1960’s. This coin is destined for the finest 1963 proof set or Franklin half dollar proof set.
