Incredible originality on this small star reverse
1799 half eagle. Hard to imagine how this 200+ year
old early US gold half eagle has remained so free
of the imperfections prevelent on so many of these
issues. A case can be made that this rarity is nicer
than if the holder stated a higher grade. Premium
quality.
