Small "D" variety, which is confirmed by the mintmark D being positioned over the V in FIVE. This specimen is the 10-G variety which is shown by the D mintmark centered over the VE of FIVE. Quite tough and elusive as a variety, southern gold specialists will be quite pleased with this specimen as this variety is quite a nice find with population of 3 and only 1 finer!
