Gold Dollar - The 1884 Gold Dollar had a small mintage
of 5,230. Many higher graded coins were saved. The grading
services have certified 28 in MS66 condition, 26 in MS67,
and 11 in MS68. There is also 1 graded MS69. Many have irregular
rims. Most have prooflike surfaces, and it is difficult
to tell a proof from a business strike.
