China 1980 300 Yuan Archery (KM-23) NGC PF68 UCAM. Struck to commemorate the 1980 Olympics in Moscow with a depiction of the archery event. With a limited mintage of just 15,000 coins these coins are scarce, and seldom appear for sale in this condition. Weighing exactly 10 grams, they were struck in a fineness of .917 and contain 0.2948 ounces of pure gold.
China minted a number of different commemorative coins in 1980, in copper, silver and gold, but the present coin is the only that was denominated as 300 Yuan. Very scarce in this high certified condition, the eye-appeal is excellent, with no major blemishes and strong Cameo contrast on both sides.
