1927 $5 Saint Gaudens $20 Error PCGS MS65 CAC. Here is a really neat "Saint Gaudens Error", accompanied a CAC approved sticker. A gorgeous Gem with fulsome mint frost and rich orange-gold color to both sides. There are no abrasions of note, and a small, rectangular-shaped strikethrough at the lower-reverse border is as struck. Rare Mint error on a Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle!

1927 $20 Reverse Struck Thru PCGS MS-65 CAC – The ever popular Saint Gaudens double eagle design in gem quality, this coin is further highlighted by a strike thru on the lower reverse. Gold coin errors are rare in all denomination, but errors are rarely found on any of the Saint Gaudens issues. On this piece it appears that a tiny piece of cloth was between the dies at the time of striking, and that the coin escaped the attention of Mint personnel during control. Fully struck and definitely worth of its gem holder, this coin is a very interesting piece for the error or Saint Gaudens specialist.
